No one takes being a rock star more seriously than Rod Stewart. Fancy sports car, big hair, flamboyant clothing and of course models for wives. He’s unabashedly all in and could be a rock and roll cartoon character except for this one little thing…he’s a great singer! Using performance and interview clips we’ll trace the arc of Rod’s career from “Maggie May,” “Tonight’s The Night” and the eternally embarrassing “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” to his astoundingly successful interpretations of the Great American Songbook. Led by Gary Wenstrup, who has taught courses on the Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel and Motown Records for the Continuing Education Departments of College of DuPage and Oakton (IL) Community College. Wenstrup has  lectured at over 80 public libraries. Besides being featured on radio broadcasts and in newspaper articles, he is also a reoccurring guest on the widely respected podcast “Something About The Beatles.” Learn more about Wenstrup HERE.
