Long before there was a franchise, there was this pet project --  a space epic fantasy conceived by a young, imaginative director named George Lucas. Explore the conception, production, and lasting legacy of the 1977 original! Led by Frank Mandosa, a film historian and Massachusetts high school Film and English teacher. Mandosa has been giving film lectures at libraries, senior centers, and community centers across the state since 2012.
