Learn how storytelling skills can be used during each phase of your hiring journey, from cover letters and resumes to the job interview. Storytelling is hard-wired into every human being. It affects the brain and the biochemistry of the body. It is a key technique to capture attention and persuade the listener to your point of view, and most importantly, can be used to make you stand out and be memorable through the hiring process. Led by Robert Mattson, founder of ITM Speakers, a consultancy that uses the skills of actors, directors, and playwrights along with business approaches to make executives, sales people and subject matter experts of all kinds into better communicators. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
