When we’re laid off from a job or leave on our own, it’s stressful. Add to that the hunt for another job, which can be a full-time job in itself, and the tension builds. The longer we’re searching, the more stressful we become. We begin to wonder whether something is wrong with us, and the guilt and shame we manufacture propels us into more anxiety. All of this affects our health and our relationships with our family, friends, and colleagues. And, if left unchecked, it can affect our success in finding a job. Taking care of ourselves, mentally and physically, is important -- whether we’re looking for work or not. Our health and our outlook affect our abilities and attitude. Learn how to take care of yourself during those challenging journeys to the next job. Discover tips on how to detect when your stress begins to come your life and how to stop it before it grows out of control. Led by Cheryl Landes, founder of Tabby Cat Communications.
