**PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A VIRTUAL PROGRAM THAT WILL TAKE PLACE VIA ZOOM. Registrants will receive a link to access the Zoom Meeting via email.**

Learn the importance and value of building a professional network and its positive impacts on job-seeking. It goes beyond Facebook and LinkedIn. Although we are taught to control what we can control, the stark fact is that much of our success and satisfaction cannot be done alone. Let’s concentrate on what can be controlled in our immediate environment. We need a sphere of influence to get past the potential roadblocks in front of us. Attendees will walk away from this webinar knowing how to make genuine connections, not name gathering or meeting checklist accomplishments, that will spur future relationships to advance their careers. Attendees will also discover key concepts of professional networking, including (1) how to influence key decision-makers, (2) how to drive your own career, (3) how to allow the network to do much of the work for you; and (4) how networking doesn't have to be as difficult as you think. Led by Thomas Dowd (aka "Transformation Tom"), a career coach and author of "Displacement Day: When My Job was Looking for a Job." Thomas enjoys sharing the lessons he learned on his climb up the corporate ladder to help people creatively find ways to differentiate themselves in the workplace and to find their own individual paths toward success.
