Discover a proven strategy for successfully dealing with career-life transitions. Attendees will (a) understand transitions, self-knowledge and efficacy beliefs; (b) learn about the career-life paradigm, the nature of person/work environment matching, and the only two ways to activate the work role; and (c) receive resources and activities for career-life exploration and planning.  Led by Edward Colozzi, Ed.D., a career-life counselor who first coined the "career-life" paradigm and uses a collaborative approach in his counseling and leadership in the career development field. He is the President of the Massachusetts Career Development Association and a Fellow with the National Career Development Association. Ed has worked intensively with unemployed and underemployed adults, individually and in support groups, to teach them successful strategies to increase their self awareness, knowledge of the world of work, decision-making and life-role balance skills. His self-paced workbook, "Creating Careers with Confidence", was published in 2009. Ed has served in several teaching, counseling, and career development center coordinator positions at both graduate and undergraduate levels including several community colleges for over 40 years.
