Have you always wanted to know what birds are visiting your yard or frequenting your birdfeeder? Can’t tell the difference between a Purple Finch and a House Finch? Dr. Steve Hale will offer tips on identifying our resident and migrant feathered friends, and let us know what to feed them to attract a diverse population. Audience members will also have the opportunity to test their own knowledge of birds.

About Steve: Dr. Steve Hale is the owner and operator of Open World Explorers, which runs guided birding tours in New Hampshire. Steve is also a professor and researcher at the University of New Hampshire where he earned his PhD in Natural Resources. He previously worked as a bird observer in the White Mountain National Forest. Learn more about Steve HERE.
