Have you ever thought about running for elected office in Tewksbury? Or maybe you're just curious about the process? Join Tewksbury Town Clerk Denise Graffeo for a presentation on how a resident can get his or her name on the ballot. You'll receive information on the town's nomination papers process and camapign finance reporting requirements. Bring your questions, but please note campaign strategies will not be discussed and political advice will not be offered. 11 seats are up for grabs in this year's Town Election on April 2, including 2 Selectmen seats, 2 School Committee seats, 2 Board of Health seats, 2 Board of Library Trustees seats, 1 Planning Board seat, 1 Shawsheen Tech School Committee seat, and the Town Moderator's unexpired term. Nomination papers for the 2022 Annual Town Election are available beginning January 3 and due to the Town Clerk's Office by February 11.
