Explore the surprisingly complicated – and heartbreaking – backstory of Irish food, from dinner in the homeland, to the diets of Irish-American immigrants. Led by culinary historian Sarah Lohman, author of the bestselling book Eight Flavors: The Untold Story of American Cuisine. Formerly the Curator of Food Programming at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum, Lohman has lectured at hundreds of universities and institutions nationwide, including the Museum of Science, Boston, the American Museum of Natural History, and The New York Public Library.
