Explore some of the most successful (and least successful) film adaptations of sci-fi/fantasy books -- including Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, King Arthur, Blade Runner, and The Hunger Games -- with movie buff Frank Mandosa, who will share his popular presentation filled with photos, video clips & trivia. Get ready for an evening of fantasy creatures, dystopian worlds, androids, wizards and magic, and other science fictions! Mandosa is a full-time high school Film and English teacher. He has been given film lectures at libraries, senior centers, and community centers across the state since 2012. Mandosa is the host of a movie-themed podcast 'Screen Savers' and co-host of 'Reel Life,' an award-winning local access TV show that features movie reviews. Learn more about Mandosa HERE.
