Taking a trip to visit our National Parks usually conjures up images of RV’s and campers, but did you know that 7 of the 62 US parks are on islands? Although that would usually conjure up images sunbathing on the beaches of tropical paradises (and some do fit that bill), there are quite a variety of additional experiences offered by this group of parks: climbing to 10,000 feet elevation, diving into the realm of giant kelp plants, kayaking into sea caves, camping among wolves, and even travelling half-way around the world. Adventurer Steve Farrar will be our guide as he takes us on a visual tour of these prospective sailing destinations. Steve has visited 61 of our country's 62 National Parks, including hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, scuba diving the coral reefs of the Virgin Islands, camping among the wolves on Isle Royale, scaling rock faces in Yosemite, and climbing to the summits of Mount Rainier and Denali.  Learn more about Steve HERE.
