Join Jeff Klapes, the Traveling Librarian, for another of his popular armchair travel presentations. This series highlights travel photography and stories and travel tips about destinations around the world. This month we'll be visiting Iceland, aptly known the "land of fire and ice" because of the contrast between its dramatic volcanic landscape and snow and glaciers. We'll drive all the way around the country's Ring Road, seeing waterfalls, isolated farms and villages, wildlife, seascapes, and the surprisingly cosmopolitan capital, Reykjavik. Jeff is the recently retired Head of Reference Services at the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library in Wakefield and an avid traveler and photographer.
