Through a real-life case study here in Massachusetts, learn how to piece together clues to discover the identity of a child’s father by comparing and correlating information from a variety of sources. Led by genealogy educator, lecturer and coach Claire Smith, a past president, mentor, and webmaster (2006-2015) for the Bainbridge Island Genealogical Society. Smith has certificates from ProGen; Boston University (Certificate in Genealogical Research) and University of Washington (Certificate in Genealogy and Family History). She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG), National Genealogical Society, New England Historic Genealogical Society, Massachusetts Genealogy Council, Massachusetts Society of Genealogists, New Hampshire Society of Genealogists, Essex Society of Genealogists, and Irish Genealogical Research Society.
