Explore the fascinating history of the American flag, from its earliest days as a symbol of revolution, to the present. What is the truth about Betsy Ross? How did the flag get the name “Old Glory?"  These questions and many more are answered presentation. Led by historian Jo Ann Tufo, a writer, lecturer and performer who has over 30 years of experience. She has taught at Coastal Carolina University/OLLI Program since 2012 focusing on a variety of subjects, including the Colonial, Civil War, World War I, World War II and Vietnam eras.
