Solar System Ambassador David S. Ball, a volunteer educator with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, discusses navigation in space. Determining where we are and how to get places has been an age-old challenge on land. This was compounded as humans took to the sea and into the air. In the next great challenge, Ball will discuss how we find our way in outer space. Ball served 26 years in the US Air Force, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel.
