Meet Susan Tran, on-air reporter for NBC 10 Boston and NECN. Learn how Susan got to where she is, her experiences in TV media -- especially as an Asian American woman --and how local news impacts our perceptions of the world around us. Tran, who has been on the Boston airwaves since 2016, is an Emmy Award winning reporter who has covered the Boston Marathon bombings, Newtown shootings, various blizzards, as well as several Boston sports championships. Whether she’s reporting on breaking news, digging for an exclusive interview, trudging through floodwaters or sharing the stories of extraordinary people, Susan’s energetic style and lively storytelling exemplify her love for news.
