How have different cultures expressed their love of gardens through art? What materials and methods have artists used to explore the idea of “garden” in their work? This lecture will review Framing Nature: Gardens and Imagination currently on view at the MFA in Boston, an exhibition that brings together art from across the museum’s collection and the many ways cultures interact with and view nature through gardens. Led by artist Meg Black, past Chair of the Art Department at Salem State University.
