2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the death of Pablo Ruiz Picasso, the artistic genius born in Malaga, Spain at the beginning of the 20th century. Throughout 2023, exhibitions, initiatives, and events are being held around the world to commemorate his life and work. Join arts educator Janet Mandel to learn about Picasso’s inexhaustible creativity and explore his tumultuous life, revealed through beautiful images of his major paintings and sculptures.  Led by Janet Mandel, a retired 32-year art history teacher. Janet now presents illustrated talks on a variety of art history topics at colleges & universities, libraries, museums, senior centers, and community centers.
