Author Madeline Bilis will give a presentation based on her new book, 50 Hikes in Eastern Massachusetts. This is a follow-up to her 2023 presentation, and Madeline will focus on different hikes this time around, with an emphasis on walks with coastal views. While the Berkshires tend to get all recognition when it comes to hiking in Massachusetts, the eastern part of the state is packed with treasures for lovers of the outdoors. From the rocky ledges of the Blue Hills Reservation to the sandy stretches of the Cape Cod National Seashore, incredible trails and vistas abound in this varied region. Madeline Bilis is a writer and editor living in Massachusetts. She previously served as assistant editor at Travel + Leisure and an associate editor at Boston Magazine.
