Take the rapid train to Lauterbrunnen Valley with its soaring rock faces and thundering waterfalls. From there, travel along the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn to Zermatt and ride the world's highest gondola to Klein Matterhorn. Finally, hop on the Golden Pass Express for a scenic trip along the shores of Lake Geneva. Led by Alison Simcox and Douglas Heath. Simcox is an environmental scientist, local historian, and author. She works at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) specializing in air quality. Heath is a hydrogeologist and local historian who formerly worked at EPA specializing in drinking water in New England. They have co-authored five books on the history of Boston's North Shore and two trail guides.
