Enjoy a conversation with Dan Hamamura, a Los Angeles-based TV Writer and Producer who's written for hit shows on several networks, including TNT's "Rizzoli & Isles," Netflix's "The Ghost Bride," and -- currently -- the CW's "Kung Fu." Join Dan as he shares writing tips, shows examples of pages from scripts he's written versus how they ended up on the screen, and takes your questions about what it's like to write professionally in Hollywood.

About Dan Hamamura: Dan was born and raised in Hawaii, and has been interested in television ever since he discovered (at the age of seven) that he could negotiate a later bedtime by promising to go to sleep as soon as the Cheers rerun was over. Eventually, this translated into an actual desire to work in television itself, and led him to Los Angeles, where he worked on numerous shows as an assistant prior to becoming a writer full-time. Dan has also written, directed, and performed with various sketch and improvisational comedy groups throughout Los Angeles and around the country, most notably at the Upright Citizens Brigade and iO West. He swears he is not an actor.
