While African art that is most familiar in the west are carvings, 2D design was equally important. Explore the African art forms of wall-painting, textiles, and body decoration. Led by Jean Borgatti, the Consulting Curator of Global Africa, First Peoples North America and Oceania at the Fitchburg Art Museum.
