Take a look a back at the life and career of Jim Henson. It all began with his mother's old spring coat and a pair of his own jeans with ping pong balls for eyes. Over time, his creation evolved into the beloved icon Kermit the Frog. From children's television to feature films to animated TV series, Henson's creative vision brought us the most recognizable and beloved motley collection of characters to span the generations. He also branced out into edgier fare like 1982's The Dark Crystal and 1986's Labyrinth, proving his versatility in writing, producing, and performing. Mandosa -- host of the podcasts "Silver Screeners" and "Movies Across The Pod" -- has been giving film lectures at libraries, senior centers, and community centers across the state since 2012.
