Monday, September 92:00—3:30 PMMeeting RoomTewksbury Public Library300 Chandler Street, Tewksbury, MA, 01876

Identify ways to stay energized, supported, optimistic, resourceful and resourced - and even have some fun! - during what can be an overwhelming, exhausting and discouraging process. This interactive talk includes participatory exercises, discussion and coaching. You'll learn about the importance of self-care, and its relationship to landing a job you'll love, and leave with a plan for supporting yourself in the way that best suits you and your goals. Led by Kim Childs, a certified life and career coach specializing in Positive Psychology (aka the “science of happiness”), creativity, and midlife transitions. She’s also a former public radio reporter and newscaster, and a Kripalu yoga teacher who’s been leading Boston-area workshops on Positive Psychology and The Artist's Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity since 2002. Kim's writing is featured in several "Chicken Soup for the Soul" books, "Natural Awakenings" magazine, the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, Wholebeing Institute and her blog, "A Pilgrim on the Path." There will be plenty of time for networking after the presentation. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
