Monday, January 279:30—11:00 AMMeeting RoomTewksbury Public Library300 Chandler Street, Tewksbury, MA, 01876

Dear Food Service Permit Holder,

As you know the Massachusetts Department of Public Health adopted the 2013 Federal Food Code over a year ago. You can download the local and state code here for your reference:

The Tewksbury Health Department, along with DR Consultants, is providing opportunities for free training for food establishment owners, operators and PIC’s. The Board of Health expects at least one employee or owner, that has a supervisory and management responsibility and the authority to direct and control food preparation and service, will attend this 90 minute training. The training will help educate you and your staff on the changes and requirements of the 2013 Food Code.

To avoid a priority violation, someone from your facility must attend this training. Lack of understanding your responsibilities of the code directive of executing managerial control will count against you at your next inspection.

This training will be offered at the Tewksbury Public Library located at 300 Chandler Street, Tewksbury, MA.
