The Tewksbury Community Market, located on the front lawn of the Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street), is open this Tuesday, July 23, 2019, from 4pm to 7pm.

This week's featured vendors include Dargoonian Farm (vegetables & flowers), Fudge 'n Stuff (fudge, popcorn & granola), Jones Farm (vegetables), KC Styles (jewelry & accessories), NYR Organics (natural beauty products), Peacock Chalk (home decor items & signs), Scents Delivered (soaps), Sweet Lydia's (smores & candy), Tewksbury Florist & Greenery (flowers), Tewksbury Honey (honey), Touchstone Crystal by Swarovski (jewelry), and Usborne Books (books), plus the Tewksbury Public Library Community Garden (vegetables).

The Kona Ice Truck will be on site selling deliciously flavored Hawaiian shaved ice.

Stop by the library's table to receive your FREE reusable totebag courtesy of Salem Five Bank in Tewkbsury (2171 Main Street). One per family. While supplies last.

Prateek Poddar will be performing from 5pm to 7pm on the library's patio, right next to the market. Bring your own chair or blanket. (A limited supply of chairs will be available.) Prateek is a folk singer, who has been nominated for Singer-Songwriter of the Year at both the New England Music Awards and the Boston Music Awards.

Bestselling cookbook author Terry Walters will speak in the library's Meeting Room at 7pm. Terry's presentation will empower you with knowledge and know-how to make fermented foods part of your daily ritual. Known to improve taste, increase nutrients, and support a strong immune system, fermentation has been used for centuries as a sustainable and delicious way to preserve the harvest and sustain good health. Terry will show us how to make a number of different ferments and we'll get to taste, too! Terry is the author of "Clean Food," "Clean Start," and "Eat Clean, Live Well." She is a James Beard Foundation Award finalist, recipient of the Nautilus Gold and Silver Book Awards, and recipient of the World Gourmand "Second Best Vegetarian Cookbook in the World" and "Best Vegetarian Cookbook in the United States" Awards. Miss Heather, of the library's Children's Room, will hold a Pajama Storytime for little ones at 7pm in the library's Story Time Room.
