PURIM PARTY: Learn About The Jewish Celebration

Learn the basics of Purim, an annual Jewish celebration, by participating in a Purim Party designed for all ages. Organized with assistance from the Chabad Lubavitch of Merrimack Valley, the party will include music, food (including "Hamantaschen" cookies), decorations, and a special Hebrew story ("Megillah"). Please note it is customary for attendees of Purim parties to dress up in costumes of their choice. Learn more about Purim HERE. The party will be led by Rabbi Asher Bronstein, who serves as the Tewksbury Police Department's chaplain. 

This event marks the first in a series of celebrations of different cultures at the Tewksbury Public Library in 2020.
