Enjoy a concert from New England's #1 The WHO tribute band, The American WHO. The American WHO is an incredible recreation of one of the greatest British rock bands from the 1960s to the present. The band’s current concert tour, “Long Live Rock,” is an exciting and authentic show that brings the sound of this legendary band to life. Powerful, unpredictable, charismatic and packed with the unstoppable energy and spirit of Daltrey, Townsend, Moon and Entwistle, American WHO presents a virtual “who’s who” of both classic songs and deep cuts that bring back the memories of Leeds, Woodstock, Isle of Wight and other historic shows. No registration required. This concert will take place on the library's back lawn. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or chairs. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be rescheduled. This program is supported, in part, by a grant from the Tewksbury Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. To supplement the cost of next year's concerts, the Friends of the Library will be selling raffle tickets and accepting donations at a table near the stage.
