Enjoy a concert from one of New England's top Jimmy Buffett tribute bands, The Island Castaways Band. Originally formed in 2008 as Jimmy Buffett tribute, The Island Castaways Band have evolved into one of New England’s most popular Trop Rock bands. (What is Trop-Rock? Any song that can bring you to your own private island and just sit back with a cold one and relax!) Their live show features a balanced mix of originals and classics, all with their own tropical touch of fun – bringing summer to you, regardless of where you are or the time of year. No registration required. This concert will take place on the library's back lawn. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or chairs. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be rescheduled. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. To supplement the cost of next year's concerts, the Friends of the Library will be selling raffle tickets and accepting donations at a table near the stage.
