It has extraordinary landscape with mountains over 16,000 feet high, and weather that can be serene, yet ferocious and unforgiving. The utter beauty of Antarctica is unforgettable. Blue and white icebergs towered over our ship. The dark water was sometimes as smooth as glass. The penguins, seals, and whales were delightful, often putting on a display for the happy onlookers.
