Thursday, February 1412:30—1:30 PMMeeting RoomTewksbury Public Library300 Chandler Street, Tewksbury, MA, 01876

Join award-winning photographer Ken Harvey on a virtual tour of Antarctica. Antarctica is a very special place. It boasts incredible wildlife that is unafraid of humans. It has extraordinary landscape with mountains over 16,000 feet high, and weather that can be serene, yet ferocious and unforgiving. The utter beauty of Antarctica is unforgettable. Blue and white icebergs towered over our ship. The dark water was sometimes as smooth as glass. The penguins, seals, and whales were delightful, often putting on a display for the happy onlookers. Ken will present a breathtaking slideshow of the trip and will explain the mission and the organization behind it. Q&A after the presentation. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
