Have fun while learning one of the fastest growing sports in the country -- disc golf. Join us on the library's back lawn to learn everything you need to start playing: the skills, rules, scoring, and course play (playing on a simulated Disc Golf Course). Discs will be provided for the event. Led by Roseanne Ham, a retired physical education teacher and has been teaching disc golf to her high school students for the past 8 years. She has been playing, for her own enjoyment, for the past 5 years.
This event is open to teens entering grades 6-12 in September 2024 and teens who have graduated high school in 2024. Registration is required. If you are unable to attend after registering, please let us know so we can give your space to someone else. If you know you'll be late, please email Emily at eleggat@tewksburypl.org so we can know to expect you.
