TEEN: Crochet with Diana Part 1 (Grades 6-12)

Thursday, July 252:00—3:30 PMMeeting RoomTewksbury Public Library300 Chandler Street, Tewksbury, MA, 01876

Come and join Ms. Diana and learn to crochet a couple fun projects over two classes. You will learn the basic stitches, the magic circle for making amigurumi (cute crochet stuffies), increases and invisible decreases, and how to read a crochet pattern. We will be making a starter project and then you will have a choice of 2 additional projects. By the end of the two classes, you will have the basics of how to crochet amigurumi as well as basic crochet.

We will supply everything you need, yarn, crochet hook, stitch markers, yarn finger guide, and yarn needle in a little bag. We will also be supplying eyes and noses for your amigurumi if you choose to make that project. At the end of the program, you will be able to take the bag, crochet hook, supplies, and all the instructions home with you so you can continue making more fun things. You will have plenty of choices for your yarn, but if you really want to bring your own, please make sure your yarn is size Number 4 (it can also be called worsted weight) as that is the size we need for the projects that we will be making.

This is a two part series.  You must be able to attend both.  Signing up here will register you for BOTH sessions.

This event is open to teens entering grades 6-12 in September 2024 and teens who have graduated high school in 2024. Registration is required.
