For January, we'll be reading Philip Pullman's "The Golden Compass", the first book in the series "His Dark Materials". Accompanied by her daemon companion, Pantalaimon, Lyra Belacqua sets out to prevent her best friend and other kidnapped children from becoming the subject of gruesome experiments in the Far North. Along the way, she befriends a Texan balloonist, a talking polar bear, and a witch. 

Copies of the book are available at the Front Desk one month prior to meeting.

We will be meeting in person, in the Trustees Room on the second floor of the library. Registration is required. Please email Annalisa Moretti at amoretti@tewksburypl.org with any questions.
