For July we will be reading the classic 1968 fantasy novel "A Wizard of Earthsea" by Ursula K. Le Guin, the first book in the Earthsea Cycle. Set in the fictional archipelago of Earthsea, the first book follows Ged, a mage in training, who leaves his small village to be trained at school for wizardry. In the course of a duel gone wrong, he lets loose a shadow into the world, and must reckon with the consequences. 

Copies of the book are available at the Front Desk one month prior to meeting.
