IN-PERSON Neverland Book Club

The Neverland Book Club is a club for adults, where we read children's books! We will be meeting on the last Wednesday of each month at 1:30pm.

This month, we will be discussing Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper.
Melody is not like most people. She cannot walk or talk, but she has a photographic memory; she can remember every detail of everything she has ever experienced. She is smarter than most of the adults who try to diagnose her and smarter than her classmates in her integrated classroom - the very same classmates who dismiss her as mentally challenged because she cannot tell them otherwise. But Melody refuses to be defined by cerebral palsy. And she's determined to let everyone know it - somehow.

Books can be picked up at the circulation desk up to a month prior to the book club date. No registration is required. If you would like to join us via Zoom, please contact KLewin@TewksburyPL.org and we will send you the link.

SUMMER READING CHALLENGE: Don't forget to sign up for our Adult Summer Reading Challenge. You do not need to be a Tewksbury library cardholder -- you can enter from anywhere in the world.
