Saturday, March 1810:00—11:30 AMEvent LawnTewksbury Public Library300 Chandler Street, Tewksbury, MA, 01876
Have fun with your family while learning one of the fastest growing sports in the country -- disc golf. Join us on the library's back lawn to learn everything you need to start playing: the skills, rules, scoring, and course play (playing on a simulated Disc Golf Course). Discs will be provided for the event. Led by Roseanne Ham, a retired physical education teacher and has been teaching disc golf to her high school students for the past 8 years. She has been playing, for her own enjoyment, for the past 5 years. Ham is interested in continuing to teach the sport of disc golf to others and is excited for the opening of the new course in town.
Register below. This program is suitable for adults, teens and families with children (ages 8 and up). Sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the Friends of Tewksbury Disc Golf.
