Tewksbury author Dennis Hobart Giles will celebrate his book, To Know Him Is: A True Story, at this book launch event. (Dennis released the book in February, and this is his first event in Tewksbury.) Dennis invites his family, friends, acquaintances and the general public to the event where he'll read selections from his book and answer audience questions. Refreshments will be served. Autographed copies of Dennis's book will be available to those interested. 

About The Book: Dennis, an acutely sensitive pre-teen with a social-emotional learning disability, explores his sexual orientation during the ’60s when gays were deemed mentally ill. Growing up in Tewksbury, timid young Dennis bears the weight of society’s pressure to fit into his parents’ American dream.
