After headlining its Festival of Trees Opening Night Gala for several years, the Merrimack Valley Chorus returns to the Tewksbury Library for another holiday concert. Based in Wilmington, this award-winning chorus performs throughout the Greater Boston area and southern New Hampshire. Founded in 1975, MVC is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating women in the art of singing 4-part a cappella harmony. Its 50+ singers are proud to belong to Sweet Adelines International, the largest nonprofit women's musical association in the world! Its members travel from 27 different communities in Greater Boston and southern New Hampshire for weekly rehearsals, and focus on preparing high quality performances that combine energetic visual presentation with exciting vocal harmony.
