Learn how to best utilize all of the Better Business Bureau's free programs and services to help make more educated and informed consumer decisions. Receive information about BBB's Accreditation and Standards of Trust, plus discover tips on how to avoid falling victim to scammers. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is a non-profit public service organization which has been helping consumers make smarter decisions for over 100 years. The presentation will be made by Amy Schram, BBB's Community Relations Manager. Robin Putnam, Research and Special Projects Manager from the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, will also give a brief presentation on identity theft. She will offer tips on how to spot and avoid scams, and how to prevent identity theft.
