GENEALOGY WEEK: Using DNA Testing In Your Genealogy Research

Tuesday, August 277:00—8:30 PMMeeting RoomTewksbury Public Library300 Chandler Street, Tewksbury, MA, 01876

Learn how DNA can help fill in your family trees, confirm relationships, break down brick walls, and suggest new directions for traditional genealogical research. Pedigree maps, chromosome browsers, matrices, and how to use various types of spreadsheets will be introduced as time permits. Led by Dr. Sandy Murray. After a career as a research cell biologist, Murray now works with DNA in a genetic genealogy setting. She is particularly interested in helping genealogists who have received their "DNA results" and "matches" but have no idea how to work with them. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
