How To Become A Foster Parent

Tuesday, January 287:00—8:00 PMTrustees' RoomTewksbury Public Library300 Chandler Street, Tewksbury, MA, 01876

Foster parenting is a service that allows people to assist needy children during times of crisis. Children come into care almost every single day in the Greater Lowell area. Hear from a foster parent and social worker about how you can make a significant, positive influence in their lives. The Massachusetts Department of Children & Families serves children of all ages — from infants to adolescents — from every community — who need a home. You can be single, married, partnered, divorced, or widowed. You can rent or own a home. Time spent with you in a stable and secure environment gives a child a chance to heal. The rewards of providing daily care, guidance and acceptance to a child are immeasurable. Sponsored by Massachusetts DCF and the Friends of the Library.
