The Town has made an important step in improving the environment by passing a plastic bag ban, yet there is still a lot more that each resident can do to improve the environment by cutting down on waste. Julia Greene, Municipal Assistance Coordinator from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection will lead a discussion on what waste is, how to cut down on it, and how to recycle correctly. Julia will give practical advice on how to reduce, re-use and recycle in your day to day life that really makes an impact on the environment.
