IN PERSON: All Ages TPL "Let Freedom Read" Statewide Read-In
Thursday, October 510:00 AM—4:00 PMMeeting RoomTewksbury Public Library300 Chandler Street, Tewksbury, MA, 01876
Join your community in the first floor Meeting Room to celebrate Massachusetts' Statewide Read-In: "Let Freedom Read!"
Open to all ages, TPL is celebrating our community's right to access and read materials freely in their local public library. Bring a book or audiobook of your own or borrow one right from the shelves, pull up a cozy chair, and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere themed to different genres as the Meeting Room transforms into a celebratory landscape dedicated to stories. Stay for as long or as little as you'd like to catch up on your reading, log your minutes as part of the third annual Reading Rivals challenge, and celebrate access to what you want to read!
What to expect during the read-in:
- 10:00am to 12:00pm: A Day with Beach Reads
- 12:00pm to 2:00pm: Forest Fantasy
- 2:00pm to 4:00pm: Cozy Mysteries for Fall
Themed refreshments will be served throughout the day. Stop by for themed giveaways (while supplies last) and raffles! No registration is required for this event.
Can't make it to the Read-In? Participate digitally by reading or listening to a book from one of the library's many free eBook resources including Libby and hoopla.
