**THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED**

Although the threat remains low in Massachusetts and there are no confirmed cases in Tewksbury we continue to monitor closely the emergence of the “coronavirus disease 2019” (COVID-19). At this time, no one knows how severe this outbreak will be. In order to protect all of our visitors and in accordance with the Governor’s State of Emergency, the Town Manager has cancelled all events and uses of the meeting rooms (First Floor and Trustees’ Room on the Second Floor) at the Tewksbury Public Library until further notice. The library is open for all other business and is happy to serve your research, reading, viewing and informational needs.

Author Kim Foley MacKinnon will discuss her new book, "Secret Boston: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure." Learn some of the secrets of one of America's most historic and creative city. Even those who think they know everything about Boston will be surprised by some of its forgotten history, hard-to-find landmarks, and colorful characters. MacKinnon is also the author of "100 Things to Do in Boston Before You Die," where she takes a deeper dive into the city she loves and writes about. Her other writing credits include the Boston Globe, Food Network, Forbes Travel, Travel + Leisure, Cruise Critic, Global Traveler, USA Today, U.S. News & World Report and various AAA publications. A Q&A and book selling/signing will take place after the event for those interested. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
