Did you love the book but hate the movie? Maybe you saw the movie, but didn't like the book? Book VS. Movie club is for you.

Read the book, come watch the movie and talk about it! Just want to watch the movie? No problem. You can show up for the film. Can't stand the movie but ready to discuss it? That works too! You can come for the second half of the event. Copies of the book are available at the main desk. Pizza will be served during the film.

This month we are watching and discussing Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone! The film is rated PG.

Film description: "Adaptation of the first of J.K. Rowling's popular children's novels about Harry Potter, a boy who learns on his eleventh birthday that he is the orphaned son of two powerful wizards and possesses unique magical powers of his own. He is summoned from his life as an unwanted child to become a student at Hogwarts, an English boarding school for wizards. There, he meets several friends who become his closest allies and help him discover the truth about his parents' mysterious deaths."

 Please note: the film runs from 5 pm - 7:45 pm. The discussion will take place from 7:45 pm - 8:45 pm.
