Author Cheryl Suchors ("48 Peaks: Hiking and Healing in the White Mountains") will describe her journey of hiking the highest 48 peaks in New Hampshire’s grueling White Mountains, beginning at the age of 48. Along the way, Cheryl suffers numerous injuries; her hiking buddy succumbs to ovarian cancer; and she endures breast cancer, a mastectomy, chemotherapy, and five years of adjuvant therapy herself.
